Cafe Jean Pierre
Gluten Free Albuquerque
Cafe Jean Pierre is relatively new to Albuquerque and is conveniently located near the Century Rio theaters at I-25 and Jefferson. Everything on the menu is prepared to order. I have visited this restaurant several times, and each time the chef has come out to ask me what I would like. Then, he explains how he will customize the dish to meet my needs.

Most of the daily specials can be prepared without gluten and include a selection of meat and seafood entrees. Pictured here are the Beet Salad and Filet of Sole, which was stuffed with crab and topped with lemon cream sauce. Both were beautifully presented and tasted as wonderful as they look.

I have been told by the restaurant staff that the chef will make Buckwheat Crepes (buckwheat is gluten free) if customers call a couple days in advance. I plan to do this for my next visit so that I can experience the dessert crepes that my friends rave about.
