You will find the Indigo Crow tucked away on Corrales
Road. There is a wonderful patio and spending time over an
excellent meal on a warm evening is a very pleasant
experience. The gluten-free diner will find that the
restaurant can create almost every entrée in gluten-free
form. This would include most seafood, beef and chicken
dishes. Several of the salads along with the vinaigrettes are
gluten-free as is the excellent crème brulee.
When I visited the Indigo Crow, I was with a large group. I
inquired when making my reservation about gluten-free
meal possibilities along with a request for separate checks
for each member of our group. They were aware of both
requests when we arrived even though I'd made my
reservation 10 days prior. Our server was delightful and my
order was perfectly done. However, the kitchen did not
seem cooperative in other ways. Our food took a long time
to arrive and two people at our table received their meals
after everyone else was finished.
In conclusion, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is
even better. I have heard from several people that their
experience with the service at Indigo Crow has been quite
good when they were four or fewer people in their group.
