Keller's is a locally-owned grocery store specializing in
naturally raised meats and gourmet food items. There is
an east side and west side location in Albuquerque.
Among the gourmet foods are a number of gluten-free
foods that I've not seen in any other Albuquerque grocery
store.
I frequent Keller's for both their quality meat products
and their selection of gluten-free frozen foods from two
of my favorite companies. Their freezer section is stocked
with several bakery items from Udi's Handcrafted Foods
including Udi's Whole grain bread. Udi's products are
baked in a gluten-free facility in Denver and their Whole
Grain Bread is the best gluten-free sandwich bread I
tasted. It's the only gluten-free bread that I've tried that
doesn't need to be toasted. In the same freezer section,
you will also find baked goods from Kinnikinnick, a
Canadian company that operates the largest gluten-free
production facility in North America. The Cinnamon Sugar
Donuts are my favorite Kinnikinnick product, and they
taste exactly like the donuts of I ate prior to living
gluten free.
Update: Starting in June, 2010 Keller's will be stocking
Paisano's bread and Pizza Crust.
