Macaroni Grill is one of many restaurants I removed
from my life when I started living gluten free. They had
great food, but I always ordered pasta meals at
Macaroni Grill and never thought to look closely at their
menu to see if gluten-free options existed.
Recently, friends invited us to a family celebration at Macaroni Grill. They had already spoken with the restaurant's manager to make sure I could get a gluten-free meal. I looked at the restaurant's web site before the event, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were several items that could be ordered gluten free.
The salads pictured here were both ordered from Macaroni Grill's Wheat/Gluten Allergies menu, which can be found on the restaurant's website. Our server was well versed on gluten-free meal preparation and explained how cross contamination would be avoided. Both salads were beautifully presented, deliciously spicy, and completely satisfying.
While Macaroni Grill's Wheat/Gluten Allergies menu does not offer any gluten-free pasta options, you can create your own meal from a combination of beef, chicken, lamb or seafood entrees, meal-sized salads and vegetable side dishes.
