Red Robin is the place to go for great hamburgers in fun,
child-friendly surroundings. It's also a very welcoming place
for those following a gluten-free diet. On request, your
server will provide a detailed listing of meals and side
dishes that can be made gluten free along with instructions
on how each item should be ordered.
The burgers can all be ordered "protein style", which means
lettuce wrapped. You will be pleasantly surprised by just
how unnecessary a bun is when you want a great
hamburger. Burgers are grilled in their own area and do not
come in contact with hamburger buns. Additionally, I
request an unopened ketchup bottle to avoid any possibility
of cross contamination.
I usually order a side salad to accompany my burger as
anything fried here is not gluten free. That includes the
fried tortilla strips that are a standard part of the salad,
and you must request that they be omitted. Several of their
salad dressings are gluten free.
Red Robin is a fun place to eat, and it's wonderful to be
able to eat with my children at their favorite restaurant.
The attention I receive here rivals the service I've received
in Albuquerque's high-end restaurants. Great food that I can
eat, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere: what
more could you ask for?

Update: Thanks to a user of this site, I learned that Red
Robin is now offering gluten-free hamburger buns. They
aren't on the menu, so you have to ask for them.
