I had heard from friends about the great meals and
wonderful ambiance at Season's Rotisserie & Grill, but I
never had an occasion to go there until recently. I will
definitely be going there the next time we go out for a
special meal.
Season's is located in Old Town and you can choose to eat
outside on the covered porch that fronts the restaurant or
inside where every seat offers a beautiful visual experience.
The servers are well educated on the meals that are
prepared in the open kitchen. As with most restaurants in
the more expensive price range, fresh ingredients rather than
packaged mixes are used and consequently, several of the
entrees can be easily altered to be gluten free.
Pictured here are the Pan Seared Scallops from the lunch
menu. The two large scallops were perfectly cooked and
completely fresh. One of the side dishes was quinoa that
had been cooked with chopped red pepper and wild rice. The
other side dish was a combination of mushrooms and fresh
peas. Each component of this meal was placed on a plate
that had been covered with a light and delicious lemon
tarragon sauce. The combination of tastes was incredible.
We also ordered the chocolate mousse dessert for everyone
at the table to split. It was beautifully presented on a plate
that had been decorated with a raspberry sauce and the
mousse was topped with candied kumquat rinds.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of it before
everyone started tasting it. It tasted heavenly!
