A little bit of time invested before you go out to eat will give you
the greatest potential for eating a tasty, gluten-free meal. Clearly
communicating with your server and assessing whether or not
they understand your needs are part of the new process you'll be
using when you eat out.
Lest you think that you will be the only person who must go
through these steps to get a safe meal, think again. Food
allergies are on the rise and I have friends who become deathly ill
if they come in contact with an offending food. Be assured, you
are not the only restaurant customer who has special dietary
needs.
