Yanni's has been a favorite Nob Hill destination for my
family and my friends over the past several years. The
food is consistently good, the service is excellent and
the atmosphere is wonderful. Yanni's specializes in
Mediterranean cuisine and several of their menu items
are either naturally gluten free or can be made that
way. One of my favorites is the Grilled Yellow Fin Sole
Encrusted in Parmesan Cheese. This comes with Greek
potatoes and steamed vegetables. I also order the
Greek salad without the dressing as it is not gluten
free. Usually a couple of the daily specials are also
gluten free.
As always, make sure to tell your server that you must follow a gluten-free diet and that includes taking precautions for cross contamination. I have had truly great gluten-free meals at Yanni's and the servers have always been meticulous about meeting my needs.
